I do not know if they are mere scans of hanken cels, shitajiki, or whatever else, or if
Nelvana actually owns them. However, there really isn't a whole lot we can do if a company
decides to buy them, perhaps as part of the deal when they bought the rights to CCS. They may
want to use them in promotional deals/sweepstakes if CardCaptors does well in the ratings.
If all of them are hanken cels, and Nelvana did buy them, I don't see what's the big fuss. Who here
on this board has the 10's of thousands of dollars that it would haven taken to buy them? People
with money can monopolize highly desirable things, from real estate to antiques, and you just
have to live with it.
