Oooh, I know what you both mean...using html to
resize images like that is one of my pet peeves
^_^;;. Not only does it take the page forever to
load, but you can *tell* that it was done that way
(or at least, it's blatantly apparant to me, but
I'm attached at the hip to my Photoshop program
^_^;;). The images are pixellated when it isn't a
true resizing. But anyway... *steps down off her
soapbox sheepishly*
I also do it manually *G*. I have one photoshop
file that has the border that goes around my
thumbnails saved in a separate layer. After I've
scanned in a cel and edited it so that the scan
looks like the real thing, I resize it and copy
the resulting image into the border photoshop
file. It goes underneath the border layer, and
then it's easy to save it as a new file.
I think that there are quite a few people who like
to use a program that makes them automatically,
though. Something like thumbsplus? If you search
through http://www.download.com for "thumbnail",
I'm sure you'll come across something ^_^. Good
luck!
