Drac of the Sharp Smiles

Well, I've known that there are dealers who do
this. To an extent it's understandable, especially
for an expensive cel - I can see why a dealer
would rather deal with someone they know is
reliable instead of someone who they've never
seen before (or worse, someone they've had
problems with in the past).

I can also see why a dealer might like to once in
a while favor someone who hasn't gotten something
for a bit - either from being late, broke, or
just not seeing anything interesting lately.
Orders are a good way to reinforce a dealer/client
relationship.

On the other hand. . . . . A dealer who saves ALL
the best cels from an update for his/her buddies
isn't someone of which I would think too highly.
There's no point in being a public dealer if you
don't want to sell to anyone else. Besides, how
can a dealer find other great new customers if
he/she leans too heavily towards favoring older
customers? ^_^

Basically, a dealer should try to be as true to
his/her stated rules as possible. If a dealer
claims to be first come, first serve, then that
is how they should truly operate most of the time.

Keep in mind that cels offered *privately* for
sale are something else entirely! If a dealer
wants to privately offer the best of the best to
his/her clients that they're most familiar with,
before putting those cels in a normal update, I
have little problem with that. It's too bad that
the rest of us don't get a chance, but I'm sure
that everyone here has dealers who privately
offer them things. ^_^

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac
