I think Wendy has a point in that we're not
necessarily talking "freinds" per se, as in the
people that you go places with and talk to all
the time (although those people might be included
in the situation). This isn't referring to a
private collector who sells a couple cels once in
a while. We're talking about the dealers who do
this for their living (or part of their living),
so we're really talking client favoritism.

So would I feel "betrayed" if a dealer that I
frequented often said "sorry you didn't get cel
X"? No, that would be ridiculous, although I
might be upset about missing the cel. I won't
even try to pretend that I can say about
something I really want: I would rather lose
fairly than win unfairly. . . But as I stated in
my post, I think that if a cel dealer declares
themselves first-come-first-serve then they
should be true to that word most of the time.

Now however if you're a private collector who has
made a deal with a *friend* in the sense of
someone you talk to and go out with, etc. . . Then
in a way you owe them more than a dealer does to
any particular client - as Wendy so beautifully
stated such.

And thinking of updates. . . Who out here is the
other Samurai Pizza Cats fan?!? ^_^ Who got that
cute cel that Nick updated a bit ago? ^_^

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac

(PS - I have just today listed a VCR for sale on
Ebay. If anyone from the Forum is interested in
buying it, I would be willing to end the auction
and make a better deal than my listed "Buy it Now"
price. You can see the auction by my ID:
"Dracofthesharpsmiles". Write me privately if
you're interested. ^_^)
