This is something that happened to me as well - 
it was longer ago than last summer, but my father 
went though our basement to "clean" and basically 
threw out everything I had touched as a child 
without asking anyone. Every game, every toy, 
anything that wasn't tied down.

Yes, this is basically what they did to me, 
except I found out about it last week ;_; And 
they threw out much of my cloths and older 
computer too, not just toys. It terrifies me that 
my repro slayers cel had to be left behind last 
week in order to be framed -_-; It could be 
worse, though -- at least they don't have their 
hands on any actual production cels... I'm so not 
looking forward to having to deal with them for 3 
weeks this christmas =(
