Quite the point! (Mon Dec 4 21:03:03 2000 )
Drac of the Sharp Smiles

Yes! The complete point of my post (in the thread
Ayaka is referring to) was to say that what he
was doing was bad for his business - at least it
is bad for his business if he wants *MY*
business. I too realize that everyone resells now
and again for different reasons. But as for me, I
will decide who I will buy from.

If that post was viewed as an attack by anyone,
they'll be in for a big shock when/if I ever do
get riled enough to "attack". (*evil sharp grin*)

But let me spell it out logically. . . If I am
looking for something, who do you think I will go
to? Should I go to:

A) A dealer who goes to Japan and/or has Japanese
contacts to which I have no access, from which
he/she gets cels I have never or would never have
seen.

or B) A "dealer" who gets his cels from other
online sites to which I *do* have access and thus
anything he/she "finds" for me would be something
I could have bought myself (for less) if it
hadn't been bought by this "dealer" first.

For a cel collector, going to "Dealer B" is like
shooting yourself in the foot - it's completely
counterproductive. And so, I will not give my
money to the "Dealer B"s I find out there. It's
that simple. And if other people also refused to
give their money to the "Dealer B"s, there would
be a lot fewer "Dealer B"s getting in our way. So
that is why I like it when announcements like
this are made on the Forum. It keeps both myself
and everyone else informed. The only people who
have something to fear from posts like this are
the "Dealer B"s. ^_~

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac
