I think you've miised something here. . . (Sat Feb 17 06:56:19 2001 )

If I found someone (Mr. Closedmind) burning a
cross on someone *else's* (Mr. Whosiwhatsi's)
property, then I would report them to the police.
It has nothing to do with Mr. Closedmind's
opinion - it has to do with the fact that they
are *trespassing* and they are making a mess that
someone *else* will have to clean up. If that
self same person burns a cross on their *own*
property - even if they have a big label on it
saying "THIS IS TO YOU, MR. WHOSIWHATSI!", only
*then* are they "expressing their opinion". Of
course, Mr. Whosiwhatsi still has the option of
reporting them to the police for *disturbing the
peace* and probably can also have something done
since the person is making a threatening gesture
against him.

There's a reason things like that are illegal.
It's because Mr. Whosiwhatsi's right to live
freely (and in peace!) is just as protected as
Mr. Closedmind's right to hold his very own
"opinion". Mr. Closedmind doesn't have the right
to pester Mr. Whosiwhatsi just because he doesn't
like Mr. Whosiwhatsi or something he is doing.

So in that sense, your example has nothing to do
with the responses to Evil Jewess and what she
(I'm making an assumption from the "ess" at the
end of the name ^_^) thinks about things yaoi.
However, when someone expresses thier opinion,
they have to be ready for *others* to express
thier opinions right back. And if they hold an
unpopular opinion, they had better be ready to
hear some disagreeing words. Evil Jewess seems to
like to advertise a lot of unpopular opinions
that she holds. That's fine - but this particular
opinion is being advertised on an *anime Forum*
where a **LOT** of people are sick of watching
edited anime. . . Anime that was edited in the
first place to live up the the opinions of people
whose acceptable level of "disgusting" is even
lower than Evil Jewess's. **BAD CHOICE OF
LOCATION** if she didn't want to hear dissenting
opinions in return.

However, I'd like to note that it seems to be
only Evil Jewess herself who is letting others
express their opinions back. For that, although I
may not agree with her, I don't mind heaing her
opinions on things.

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac
