Aimee, anything is risky. :) If you want to get
a few cels framed, but are still unsure, you
might want to check around at a few galleries
and talk to them about framing. I think you are
in the So Cal area, right? There should be a
few animation galleries down there, Van Eton is
one that comes to mind right away. Talk to them
about framing and what you should look for in a
framer. Don't be afraid to interview the frame
shop. If the place looks dinky or the people seem
like they don't have a clue, take yourself and
your cel outta there. :) Look for a place that
has had experience framing cels in the past, or
ask if they have a person that comes in regularly
to frame cels and see if maybe you can get
contact information for the person and see what
they have to say about the shop. The place
I've gone is in Albuquerque, NM, so I don't think
that'll help you! :) Good luck!

Jen
