Hi ^_^

I'd hate to tell you, but at least two of the OP 
cels have sold since last night from Gundam W. 
There may have been more, I didn't make it there 
until after the "e-mail" update, so there may 
have always been those "early" update catchers 
that bought one that I didn't see. So, the GW OP 
cels are selling. I am a big GW collector, 
particularly of Heero & Relena, and I think that 
those prices were actually reasonable. They are 
OP cels, used over and over, and the average 
Heero cel (nice, primo) is selling anywhere from 
$500 - $1000 at the moment on YJ. Most seem to go 
for around $800 on Yahoo Japan. I've been duking 
it out for months with this one Japanese bidder 
on cels. Fortunately, most of my Heero cels I 
managed to get early at more like the $150 range, 
before Japanese sellers and new American fans 
caught on. I probably wouldn't pay more than $350 
for a TV cel, $500 - $600 for an OVA. Maybe 
that's why I have been losing so many auctions ^_-
 But for an OP cel ... I dunno, I think that's 
pretty special and worth an insane price.

Also, Taro is very accomodating and will work 
with you if you want to buy an expensive cel. To 
me, the service, cel quality, and knowledge that 
these are ~legitimate~ cels from a ~reputable~ 
dealer make it worthwhile to me to spend the 
money on expensive cels if they are worth it.

Now, I must say that I do think the $1700 Trunks 
is more than a bit too expensive O_o ! If they 
really sold for that I don't think I would be 
sitting on my Trunks collection ^_^;; But, the GW 
cels are reasonable and I know several greedy 
Heero fangirls in Japan who would pay more like 
$2000 or $2500 for a Heero OP. I am assuming they 
just don't know about Taro yet (I've never seen 
any Taro cels in their galleries, they seem to 
buy exclusively on Yahoo JP). Lemme tell ya, I'm 
not going to tell them about Taro anytime soon ^_^
