DID YOU CALL THE POST OFFICE? (Wed Jun 6 18:11:17 2001 )

I recently has a similar situation whereas a
priority mail was sent but no mail in two weeks.
I later called the post office (the one that has
your mail) indicating my pkge was sent but I
never received it. The next day they attempted
delivery however no one was home (they called the
number i left them over the phone). The odd
thing was that they didn't leave one of the claim
tickets at all. The next day I went to the post
office telling them of my situation. The person
was kind enought to look upon my repeative stmt
that its there. Actually the person had to go
back 3 times before she found it ( I was very
persistent)

My take on the situation is that the post office
either has the mail but forgets to deliver it &
in processing of the mail it thinks you have a
claim ticket & the package is just sitting at the
post office waiting for you to pick it up.
(Therefore it could be a careless mailman that
just forgot to fill out a card or the card got
lost/someone else took it)

p.s. this mail was sent insured however it is
worth the try calling the post office to see if
its there or not (it didn't fit in the mailbox so
therefore they are holding onto it) Just a
suggustion. Hope your packages come!
