I totally agree with everything HD said.  If you 
aren't willing to pay that much for a cel, then 
don't.  If enough people get tired of the prices 
and more ppl refuse to pay that much, the prices 
will go down.  I'm not too keen on your 
describing it as "rape".  Rape is unwilling - but 
in this case, people ARE willing to pay crazy 
prices.  

This fluxation in prices is true with anything in 
demand.  Yes, many of the series I collect used 
to be a heck of a lot cheaper, and it's 
dicouraging to know that if I bought them now I'd 
pay MUCH more, but this makes me appreciate what 
I have that more.  

Does collecting make you happy anymore?  If you 
find that you are more discouraged than happy  
maybe it is time for you to stop.
