I agree. Like other sellers (either at ebay or
privately) I don't consider a cel sold until it's
paid for. I've had people back out of deals at
the last possible minute on cels that they
offered $2000 for. I think most sellers will
put a cel on HOLD for someone for a period of
time. Now this isn't to say that HobbyShopK
doesn't have it's problems. I've hear of a
number of incidents that they've actually
confirmed holding a cel for someone and then sold
it to another. Personally speaking, they've sent
my cels to the wrong address and have wrongfully
cancelled by bid at ebay b/c I didn't pay for a
previous cel where the reserve price wasn't met
(and I never agreed to buy the cel outright).
So all in all, you win some and you lose some.
It's all a part of cel collecting and should
really be put into some perspective. (Guess with
my aunt dying in a hospice care center gives me a
new view on life.)
