I can't be sure...but I was told that a lot of the 
cels from Ghilbli (sp?) were destroyed (by the 
company) rather than released.  So...since 
there are fewer cels out, plus the age 
factor...the cels are just really, really rare.  Most 
are now in collectors too...  I guess it's a 
classic (never watched it ^^) so....
