Speaking of high prices, can anyone who has been 
collecting for years give their impression of 
price changes in the last year or two?  What I'm 
getting at is, "Do you think that the increased 
popularity and exposure of anime in the USA (due 
mainly to Cartoon Network) has significantly 
impacted cel costs?"

Just curious.

Oh, and to the original poster:
Seeing collectibles you want priced just out of 
reach is a real bummer.  I have been collecting 
Japanese toys for quite a while, and the online 
community I frequent has something wonderful 
called Toy Karma.  Basically, if you come across 
something that you know somebody else really 
wants and can't find (or can't afford), you 
simply give it to them.  FREE.  Usually w/out 
being asked.  It's so awesome.  I've received 
several nice toys (ranging up to $80) this way.  
And I've passed along the good vibes by sending 
some out on my own.  :-)

Does this community practice good "Cel Karma"?
