I realize that with some of the recent strife on 
this board, there's a tendency to jump to the 
conclusion that people are too quick to mock other 
posts.  But after all, this is only a message 
board and it's easy to misinterpret the intent of 
someone's writing.  With one or two exceptions, I 
don't think that the responses were all that rude, 
although certainly a lot of people answered...I 
wouldn't have jumped into it either, but Lady Z 
and I posted at the same time.  (I take a long 
time to edit my posts.)  ^^;  Rather, I think they 
were trying to address several other points (such 
as the ones in my post), or trying to elaborate on 
the deputy bidding service in case Eric was 
unfamiliar with it (such as the explanation in 
Lady Z's post).  One or two posts could have been 
more polite, but that doesn't mean that everyone 
jumped on him.

I agree with your primary point--let's help the 
cel newbies, not discourage them!  We were all 
there at one time.
