Oh my goodness. LMAO...
I can't believe such a ferocious flame war is
going on and I didn't even start it. Must be
losing my touch.
Seriously though, I have to agree with the
following-
Just several people seem to think that crying and
WHINING to the world is their right (which it is
just like any of us can say, SHUT THE F--K UP)
but
NOT HERE in space they do not own and bothering
the heck out of other people. GEEZ people if the
OWNER of the board says it's irritating to him or
other people then get a clue. It's REALLY TEDIOUS
and OBNOXIOUS to see people going on and on and
on
all the time "oh, honey, you're a good, sweet
person. You don't deserve this crap. Let's go pat
ourselves on the back while we cry together and
say how horrible and awful the world is being.
While we're there, let's ask God to bless all the
misguided people who don't understand why whining
and ranting and raving is a sign of a good
heart."

While we should be able to make friends with
folks here on the forum, it should not be
considered each person's dedicated self-help
group. Sure, if you lose out on a cel you really
wanted, or the prices are inflating faster than
the rates on first class stamps, I think it's
okay to complain once in a while. But to rely on
this group for a sense of self worth? That's
silly.
I've seen this kind of thing happen so many times
on lists and boards- things degenerate into flame
wars and stupid posts- if the moderator steps in
eventually most are afraid to say anything or get
bored and the forum dies, or everyone gets
offended and leaves.
I kinda like the survival of the fitter, but then
again I used to really love flaming people-- :P
Basically it comes down to trying to develop a
bit thicker skin, buck up, and realize this is
entertainment. NOT THERAPY.
