Heh, I just had this happen to me...it's most decidedly evil.. (Mon Nov 5 04:39:42 2001 )

Yeah, you know, most of my cels have actually
come from making offers to galleries. Most of
the time I've had good experiences with it. I
just hate when people ignore you. There's no
reason for that, it's rude. All you have to do
is decline, not even politely if you dont want
to. I think you at least owe it to the person to
not ignore them >:(.

I've recently had one very very bad happening
with that though. I wont name names to protect
the identities of said parties, even though they
dont really deserve it in my eyes after what I
went through. I had this person who I considered
sort of a friend. We didnt talk much, but they
didnt really respond to my emails, no matter how
much I tried to talk as friends do. We have the
same favorite anime character, and the same
ideals about this character. I really tried my
best to get to know said person, but I was never
able to get through 9_9. No good deed goes
unpunished. I did them some small favors and
such. This person had a lot of cels that I just
adored, and I asked them so many times that if
they ever sold them, to PLEASE tell me, Id give
them whatever they wanted for them. I asked
repeatedly, I mean, really. Then, after about
half a year....what do I find? The cel I wanted
most from this person goes on Ebay. There's more
to it, but I wont get into it cause I dont want
to give away too much. Anyways, I was very hurt
by this...I thought I had done some really nice
things for this person. It would have been
different had she/he offered it to a better
friend, or something like that, but it went to
Ebay......I repeat..Ebay. I was so heartbroken
over losing that cel, AND for thinking this
person would keep their word to me. Oh well, for
every gem there's a stone. Most of the time
people are cool with offers, I've had very few
bad experiences with it...unfortunately the bad
times stick out in my mind like a dagger. Im
still stinging from that last one.....
