Re: Re: Do offers to peoples galeries ever work? (Mon Nov 5 09:07:39 2001 )

Well, I've only offers for some of my cels and
well, only had two-three rejections. On cel I
offered like 6 of my cels for their one, but yet
they did not take it. I finally learned one day
they sold it to another for some offer and was
devestated and upset as well. YET, had to go on
because there WAS a reason for it. Trust me...I
got an even better dream cel that is my baby
after my lose. ^_^ (Tasuki & kouji) I'm glad they
didn't inform me or tell me about selling it. I
think it's fair for the moment if the collector
just sells on the moment to whatever e-mail come
their way though. They might not want to deal
with a few parties fighting over it and the price
gets out of hand? Who knows for what reason? I'm
glad the P.C. didn't ask others for offers from
others wanting it when getting mine one day,
because I could never offord more than what I
paid. And learned one another was wanting that
cel too and well, it still was sold to me,
without asking for offers from others. One, well
I was blessed in this because no way could I beat
the other party/or parties involved when it came
down to it and they would beat my offer because I
learned they would have. The price would have
gotten out of hand. I really can't understand why
they took my offer and won't think about it, just
be happy it happend. It's Kismet! Maybe in
respect and fairness to me perhaps because I
can't afford too much and well, offered a still
high amount at the time. I really desired, prayed
for it and loved it and so happy for the non-
competition had the fairness in a way towards me,
a tiny cel collector searching for something so
grande. I mean, just sometimes harsh and not fair
to bring others into the game because it raises
the price and lose out because they are taking
offers back and forth. If they on a spur of the
moment at that right timing needed to sell and
someone made an offer, they probably took it
because it was timing wise-they needed money and
didn't want to get into a large offer war back
and forth that might take days and too much time
and effort. Dunno, or maybe they pittied me in
some way-I'll never know but will kiss the P.C's
feets forever, because I have my dream cel at
last. It only took a one time. I believe if they
turn you down the first time, doubt it will ever
be sold to you-dunno, my experience. The first
yes is always a good sign, then a maybe in the
future. ^_^ I'm a student and don't make much
have to bite and scrape to get what I can. I'm SO
happy happy they didn't take any other offers on
it if they needed to sell and talked to me about
it as we did. I thank private collectors who
don't go back and forth between offers because it
gets too high. It happened to one cel I loved and
had to drop out because $200 for a $15 cel wasn't
worth it. ;_; It's just not fair to whoever made
a sudden offer and well, if the collector wants
to sell it to someone all of a sudden...dunno...
I on one hand I don't make any promises to no one
unless I mean it though. I always keep it no
promises a lot of times because the private
collector or like I, might not know what may be
up on the table if they need or I need to sell.
Or a trade will come my way and I have to fork
the cel over to someone else. I still wonder why
in God's good grace the latest catch of mine, no
other people were involved and they sold it to me
and didn't even try to involve others. @@ I'm so
GRATEFUL. *kisses P.C.'s feet* It was a miracle,
believe me and well, it was fated to be that way.
I will say this, if you lose one day, you will
gain something even more better afterwards.
