I've gotten tons of people addicted to Elfquest 
in just that way.  Heehee.  I always praise the 
storylines up to the skies (like I did when I 
posted the cel initially) as well as the art, 
which I wouldn't have bothered doing if I didn't 
think painting that color-less sketch well enough 
for it to look as good as the series art would 
have been a fantastic skill challenge...

I think the comics are definitely worth reading--
unfortunately, they've all been reissued in 
collected volumes in black and white, so they 
aren't nearly as beautiful as they were 
originally. =(

But as a manga fans, that shouldn't bother people 
around here too much.
