Because the Mikimoto genga I posted... were
done by Mikimoto. (Which doesn't mean that I
would be able to recognize one if I didn't
know.... that's the problem with genga :)

Actualy, that genga is special because it's
done in part with ink-pen and in part with
pencil. But that doesn't mean that all genga
have to be done that way so you can't use
this to define what is a genga :)

Because they don't know what is a genga or
how to recognize one.

No really : so-called genga are usualy not sold
at the real price of a genga even if they are
a little more expensive than a douga :)

Right! But with Lodoss it's easier : Nobuteru
Yuki published doujinshi containing all the
drawing he made for that anime. So you can
check easly... (and even if some are not genga
but rough sketches, they are still done by
Nobuteru Yuki and so have the same value)

Yes, your definition is correct but genga are
not draw by lead animator : they are draw by
character designers and animation directors.
