I'm having an argument with the guys of other 
anime forum.  They insist that Escaflowne was 
painted digitally by computers and that the 
editing and all that was made not in the way that 
the old anime was done.  As far as I know for the 
tons of cels I've seen of Escaflonw, it is cels 
made and probably it has some effects made by 
computers (for example, when the guymelefs 
appeared from their invisible status), but how 
much of it was cels and how much by computers?  
Also, for what I know, the process of the cels 
it's the same as the one used before, right? For 
whta I know, first comes the sketch/genta, then 
the cel and background, then the cel is 
photographed, right?  can somebody tell me a 
little more so I can stop (and win ^_^) this 
argument with these guys?  does the cel suffer 
any changes during the editing process?
