I too had this happen to me, well, the same 
things but different cels.  I was sniped on a cel 
last year in the last minute and 20 seconds.  The 
cel I was sniped on was, what I consider THE cel 
of my favorite character.  I stayed up all night 
long, the night after my grandfather's heart 
surgery, to win the cel.  It ended at 5 am, and 
when I saw that I was sniped, the dial up modem 
on my grandma's machine was too slow to make it 
in time.  Needless to say, I cried for hours, and 
even made myself sick due to the adrenaline rush 
I got when I thought I was going to win.  That 
experience almost soured the hobby for me 
forever...  BUT!  The gal who sniped me, while I 
was terribly upset, is now my good friend :).  I 
contacted her about the cel, and afterwards, I 
was okay with her having it.  It meant very much 
to her, so I have comfort in that.

About someone going after something that you 
want, and they know you want it.  I've had that 
happen to me a few times now, and it's just the 
most aweful thing someone can do to you in this 
hobby.  Im not going to mention anymore about it, 
as I dont really think about it too much these 
days.  Im so horrified by your story, I wish I 
could find this person and smack them for you, 
but I cant.  All I can say is this:  What goes 
around, comes around.  I would never do this to 
someone because I know full and well that rule is 
100% foolproof.  The last thing I want is somene 
going after something I want to get back at me 
for doing it to them.  It's just wrong.  I hope 
you have better experiences in the future.  I 
also have friends who this has happened to.  It's 
a real shame, and it's terrible the way some 
people act in this hobby.  I've made some boo-
boo's, but I would never do something intentional 
to hurt someone like that.  Cheer up though, 
whoever hurt you will get it back, three-fold..
