Advanced search
By default, when you do a search, the returned pages must include
every words in your query.
For example, "tenchi ryoko", will return only pages that contain
"tenchi" and "ryoko".
If you separate two words by a "&", only pages that contain
both words will be returned. This is the same as separating words
by a "space". Typing "tenchi & ryoko" is the same as typing
"tenchi ryoko".
If you separate two words by a "|", all pages containing
either words (or both), will be returned.
For example, "tenchi | ryoko", will return pages that contain
"tenchi" or pages that contain "ryoko".
It is possible to excluded pages containing a word by puting
a "!" in front of it.
For example, "tenchi & !ryoko", will return pages that contains
"tenchi" but exclude those that contain "ryoko".
It's possible to write more complicated query by grouping parts
with "()".
For example, "tenchi & (ryoko | aeka)" will return pages that
contain "tenchi" and "ryoko" as well as pages that contain
"tenchi" and "aeka".
There is two types of search :
1) When selecting "search the cel directory", pages will be returned
based on the data stored in our database. (Similar to Yahoo).
2) When selecting "search the web", pages will be returned based on
their contents. All pages of a site are indexed (Similar to Altavista).
But only pages of sites registered in our database are indexed so
unrelated sites won't be returned.
