I need help in choosing a mat to frame a cel. A local
frame shop is pushing a "rag" mat made out of cotton
that is totally 100% acid free.  While this is very
appealing when compared to the normal acid free mat
which is two acid free pieces of paper with non acid
free paper in-between. Well so they claimed.  The
problem I have is that the "rag" mat is twice as expensive 
as the other acid free mat. Does anyone out there have
any experience with a "rag" mat?

I'm already getting UV resistant glass, but the choices 
between the two mats has got me kind of stumped.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
