Of course you would be disappointed.  You
misjudged the intentions of this "friend", or
he lied to you.  But that's a special case.

The original question was about the more general case.
If you sell to people in general and they turn
around and resell it, I don't see much wrong in that.
If they misrepresented their intentions in buying it,
that's a different issue.

I didn't say "always."  I'm assuming that
when _most_ people sell, they try to sell
at a profit.  And I believe that's particularly
true when a person is selling from his or her
personal stock.  Such cels are particularly
dear to the seller and the seller will
often ask more than the normal amount.
