Hello, That isn't realy true : With many cels, you get "concept" drawing that correspond to what you describe but aren't genga. Those drawing are used to "define" what the scene should look like. Many Sailor Moon cels, when they come in TOEI bags, or Slayers cels have such drawing. I have a few genga from Macross II (draw by Mikimoto) and they look much more like cels drawing than those "concept" drawing. Will try to make some scans... Cheers, Yann Stettler |
