"genga" means "original picture" right?  When you say gengas 
are done by character designer, do you mean they are done by
the original mangaka? (from my understanding, anime are made
from mangas almost all the time) If so, do they always need to
be involved in anime production?  How many gengas can we expect
from 1 episode? If these mangakas are involved in anime production,
and are expected to provide gengas, how come sometimes the anime 
looks much less like the actual manga?
