This scam thing reminds me of a cel that was being offered in Anime-Marketplace newsgroup a couple of weeks ago. Someone was advertising a Gatchaman cel for $400 that looked distinctly like a common repro. The "cel" even had a grave error in it where the character pictured (Ken) had a gun in his hand, but in the actual anime he never used a gun. What I thought odd about the ad was that the seller posted his name, address and phone number! Like my girlfriend would say "talk about baka!" Metaphor
