Hello,
I think that it depend of what kind of credit card you
use and of your bank.

Here, the only type of card we can have from visa or
mastercard is pure credit. That's mean that when I buy
something with the card, nothing is removed from my
account until I get the "bill" from the card company.
For example, if I get the "bill" from the card company
the 27th of the month, everything I buy before that
date with the card won't be removed from my account
until the 27th...

So yes, with this kind of card, it's quite common to be
charged 20 to 30 days after the purchase : Everything
you pay right after you received your bill will be
like that...

For other kind of card (that debit directly), I don't
have the faintest idee : we don't have that here at
all. It's a matter between your bank and the card
company...
