Fact is that last time they updated their site, they
put a relatively cheap Ranma cel and got many order for
it. They didn't know why and only found latter that
it was because the cel is from the opening.

But don't be blind : they didn't sold the cel at a lost.
They took their usual margin. They just realized later
that they could have got more.

Now, they put again cels but as soon as they get several
orders (5 or more from what they e-mail to people that
ordered), they cancel the sale and say they will do
instead an auction.

Fact is that it's illegal in many countries.

Fact is that when someone do an auction, he take at
least the risk that nobody bid and he may have to sell
the item for relatively low. But here that's not what
they do : they first sell at a fixed price and if they
are sure that many people want it, they cancel and
run an auction... Sure, that's much safer that way !

Yes, that's probably a mistake. A bad move... But
they shouldn't be surprised if people tell them what
they think of it (no excuse for the kind of language
used by some people). And they should just acknowledge
the mistake and learn from it instead of taking that
attitude of "nobody like me. If it's like that,
I won't play with you anymore"...
