Hi! As I remember when I asked the folks at the AIC auction in Tokyo they told me it was put on for there security. They have had a lot of problems with cels "going missing" they told me that is how they know it wasn't stolen. At least, that is how I remember it. I have come across a few that were stamped in the lower right corner but most were in the top left. Fuzz
