If you scan an image you do not own the image and you have no rights
on that image. All you own is the drive space it occupies. This gives
you no rights to distribute or display the image moreso than someone
who does not own the Cel. You cannot protect the image in a court
of law or request anyone stop using it. Only the owner of the image
can make those requests.

Yes, people have license to use the images (DiC, GLENAT) but they
do not own them. Ownership is the key here. Owning a Cel is not
in any way ownership of the image.

Yes, if you own the Cel I will remove it from our public libraries.
But I think that your pretention is astounding. Why own the image
if you don't want to share it with others? All of my Cels have
been scanned and put into the library. I have never denied anyones
request to remove a scan of a cel or a custom graphic from our public
libraries. But I have to verify that you do in fact own the cel first.
