Let me open with the fact that I've only read the messages
that started at "Amazing ..." in this thread. I personally
have no issues with people putting cels up on Ebay.
(Though I do hope Yann decides to make an auction place
here, for I don't paricularly care for Ebay's seemingly
chaotic and frenzied way of orderign it's auctions.) Cels
are a luxury that definately fall under the laws of
supply and demand. Dealers and whatnot are trying to make
a profit (else why invest in the business), and as such
will raise prices as demands warrants. Conversly, if
people stop buying cels (due to morals being defiled or
lack of fiscal resources to devote to cel purchases),
people will lower thier prices on cels. I can certainly
empathize with those who can't afford cels, heck, I'm
a starving college student. What's worse, I primarilly
look at Maison Ikkoku, Video Girl Ai, and Kimagure Orange
Road cels... all of which are terribly expenmsive for nice
ones. (If anyone is selling from these serieses, I'm
interested. :) As such, in the year I've been into cels,
I've purchased very few. I simply can't afford more. The
plus to this (or the bright sidethat I see) is that it
....continued......
