I agree completely.  But many people do seem to like
auctions.  Last week when I offered many of my cels
for sale I asked that people just tell me what they
were willing to pay and I'd sell to the person who
offered the most.

Anyway I got numerous people who wanted me to put them
on Ebay because they wanted to be able to see what
everyone else was bidding.  I guess I can understand
that... I mean they think they might get a better deal
if they know what others are bidding.

Then again you've got the bid snipers who can take
a cel away from you in the last few seconds and that
doesn't seem fair.

Ah well.. that's what the people want and I guess I
am going to have to use ebay for some of those sales.

Anyone know when is the best time to run an auction?

I mean I know that most people wait until the last
minute to do bidding (and sniping in some cases) so
what is the best day and time to start an auction so
everyone is likely to be able to bid in those last
few minutes a week later when the auction is ending?

I thought Sunday would be good but then I wondered if
that would exclude people who use internet access
through work or school.

Any recommendations?
