I agree with what you feel but of different reasons. I have
a lot of problems with money right now with my fiance in College and not working anymore. I really enjoy collecting
cels but when they take money from my food budget for some
reason I don't like them as much as I used to :P

I used to collect Japanese toys, cels, anime books, DVDs,
and still have money left over to have fun with.  Now I
have stopped collecting cels, toys, and books and try to 
just get the DVDs as the reason why I collected 
those other things was because of my love for Anime in the
first place. 

For some reason collecting cels is REALLY hard to stop. 
Maybe becasue you get to actaully own a piece of what you 
see on the screen. Maybe becasue it is a unique one of a 
kind item. I don't know.
I still have my homepage set at the dealers update
page and as you can tell I still read these message boards
even though I don't post much anymore.

I have almost completely stopped but sometimes I can't help
myself, especially when there are really nice cels for not
a lot of money. I just spent $75.00 on BAV cels from Yann's
killer update and now I have to eat tuna and rice for a
week. Well that is an exageration but you get the idea.

Well, that is why I "stopped" collecting cels. I might fall
off of the wagon every now and then for a great deal or for
something that I really want. But if I could I would still
buy as many as possible.
