Since I just recently finished setting up a domain 
name and hosting system, I thought I should let you know
something that surprised me. When you shift servers, the
time it takes before everyone is directed to the new
host server is quite random. While one individual may see
be able to access the newly hosted server in a day, others 
may not be able to access the new host server for a week.

My guess is that everyone trying to access there page in
japan or the people they consulted were able to do so with 
no problem and they just figured that the new host was 
accessible by everyone. Not good planning on there part, 
but quite a human error and not worth holding it against 
them.
