There is a possibility that the dress really is purple and
that K's scanner messed up the colours. I've had that happen
to me before; green turns aqua, red turns yellow and purple
turns red. It all depends on which scanner I am using and how
I have the contrast turned up on it.
You might want to ask him if it's really red or not.
