For me, the biggest thrill in cel collecting is to look up at the screen and see _my cel_. I put screencaps of my cels in my gallery whenever I can (though I'm a bit behind right now...got to find time to work on things). I still prefer to collect really nice cels of my favorite characters, but I will also happily buy inferior cels from favorite scenes, particularly if they come with the matching background to better remind me of the scene. It's a bad habit, but I occasionally find myself buying a bad cel just because I like the scene and want to talk about it in my gallery. I hope people actually occasionally click on the thumbnails to see the screencaps and my silly ramblings. :-) --Atiya |
