Hmmm...perhaps the issue amounts to
this...
You won't make many friends in the cel
community by buying a cels off of another
dealers's site only to resell it for profit.
That's just a fact. You can defend yourself,
but it most cases it won't matter--this is
simply about hard feelings. As you stated, most
cels are gone within minutes of their postings.
Therefore, you will have one happy person who
got it and a hundred or more unhappy people
who lost it.
What softens the "loss" for most is when people
see that the new owner loves, treasures,
appreciates...pick a word...the cel for its
inherent artistic value. Then all seems well
and most people move on (grumbling at times)
but with a more philosophical attitude.
But if you are buying off of another site just
for resale, you might as well raise the red
flag, go the Spain and stand in the arena. Sorry,
but that's just the way it is.
This could be debated until the end of Time...but
when you are stepping on another person's
feelings--especially a Collector--you just won't
win. It is an inevitable by-product of the human
condition.
But then, if you don't care, there isn't a problem.
