Hello, I want to add that if it may be possible to buy poor quality cels from shops like Mandarake for $10 or less and resell them for $30, it's not possible to take that kind of margin for rarer/higher quality cel. You can't buy a $300 cel and resell it for $900... not even $600. So margin is much much lower than what you said for good cels... Concerning prices being higher, there is several factors : 1) The prices are getting higher in Japan too. 2) The yen rate is very high. (It's not the dollars that is low : it's the yen that is very high so it's the same for other currencies). 3) Some popular series where there was many cels on the market are becoming pretty hard to find. An example is Tenchi Muyo : You nearly can't find any more realy good cels from some of the character. Even Shin Tenchi is becoming harder to find. Same for good OAV El Hazard...
