You know, the more I think about this, the more I feel I have to add my two cents.

I'm sorry, but I just don't have a problem with people
buying cels to put on ebay, even if it *is* solely to make
a profit. When you think about it, isn't this pretty much
the same thing that all cel dealers do...acquire cels and
sell them for a profit?

Think about it...the people who run the cel websites are
not only providing us with a product, but they are also
providing a service. I personally do not have the resources
to actually go to Japan and get these cels myself, so I, in essence, pay
other people to do that for me. I also am not able to
constantly monitor the sites, so I miss out on a LOT of cels
that I would like to have. 90% of the time, I think to
myself: "That cel went for $XXX?? I would have paid DOUBLE that, at least!!!" This happened to me when I saw that I missed out
on the Rayearth OAV cel of Clef and Umi at Gambit this
weekend. It went for an INSANELY low price, and I would
have very gladly paid three times that amount.

So, you see....I'm really hoping that one of the "evil"
people that buy cels just to sell on ebay got that cel. I'm hoping that I'll see it show up on ebay next week and
that I'll actually have a chance at getting it. I'd be
more than happy to pay him or her three times what the cel
initially cost as a payment for the service of getting the
cel and offering it in a forum where I have a chance at
getting it.

(Wandering off topic a bit: This is why, even though I'm
not one of the privileged few that's allowed to buy from
Pocket, I completely support her establishing the lottery
system. I do wish I could buy from her, or at least *see*
what everyone gets so excited about.)

Anyway, that's just my opinion on the matter.
