There really is no point in complaining about
this. All dealers are going to buy from some
middleman and try to sell for a profit. That is
what businesses do. Just because someone sees the
middle man and what the price was set at and how
much the increase was to the end line comsumer-
us- is not a reason to go after the business.

Do any of you have any ideal how much jewelry is
marked up and why a place can put it on sale for
75% off and still make a very good profit?

Cels are unique and a dealer can ask any price
that he/she wants for a cel and use whateever
resources they have to supply them the cels. I
don't look at Yahoo Japan because I can't read it
and I can't buy from it and I don't want to be
tempted at something I can't have. I do look at
World Star to see what is available and what are
the standard prices and if I'm looking for a cel I
know what to ask a dealer for and what would be
a good price range for me and still give them a
profit for their time.

Also, I might add this same kind of discussion
was used against Miki's Junk Jungle/Melissa when
she bought LOGH cels from Bombay and put them up
on her site for sale for a profit. People were
upset about it.

Remember that every deeler is trying to make
some kind of profit and everyone is mainly buying
from some middleman who is also trying to make a
profit. How much of a profit the end dealer makes
depends on how much we are willing to pay. I
wouldn't pay $300 for any cel. And I've only paid
about $100 for two of my cels..but they were
worth that to me and I'm not selling them ever.

Anyways...let businesses be businesses and
remember that if they make a good profit on a cel
then they can use that money gained to go out and
get cels that you might be looking for or dreaming
about. Without that profit they can not invest
any more money and you can't get the cels that you
want.
