Although it's terrible parents don't always understand
it's good to know their are others out there who deal with 
the same thing...I still don't tell my parents how much each
of my cels cost unless I can point to one on the net going for
much more.  

I know this probably won't work in this situation, but I 
forced my mother to watch some anime with me (Tenchi...very
few can resist it ^_~) and she actually started to get into
it.  With that I bought her a Ryo-ohki cel and now she is
MUCH more accepting of my collection. *grin, although she
still grumbles about the amount of packages I seem to get,
well that and my obsession with the post office*
