Nay, that was very informative. ^_- 
Well, I guess I will remove the staples. That's easy enough 
to do. I don't recall having cels with tape, but I'd better 
double-check (yellowed tape SUCKS). I guess the only cels 
I have that I sort of don't want to touch are the ones with 
backgrounds (I'd separate the layered cels with sheets of 
plastic instead of bagging them, then bag the whole cel set, 
but I don't really want to rebag the background itself and 
then bag the entire thing! Make sense? Too big..). I'll figure 
it out. 

As for your comments about tape:

What about rubbing alcohol? I've used that to safely remove 
paint specks from multi-layered cels (obviously very carefully).
