Probably why the dimensions are a little off, and 
also why it's rather uneven at the top. 

And I think I get the hand thing. Book cel 
wouldn't work if they wanted to have something 
appear BETWEEN Goten and Trunks. Since all three 
characters are on the same layer, they'd have to 
make it look as if the object was covering up 
some of Trunks, but none of Goten. Makes me 
wonder why only one layer. Perhaps it was a pan 
cel at one point.
