Hi!  I might be able to value a guess on 
which tenchi series and episode it is from if you 
could describe what ayeka is doing ,where she is 
on the screen, and the size of the picture(full 
figure, shoulders up, etc.)  I own all of the 
oav's, most of the universe, and some tokyo.  If 
you just want some advice, the attention to 
detail on the OAV's and the Universe is nearly 
the same, but the universe is clearly more crisp 
and the OAVs are more refined(looks like they 
have been well detailed.).  The Tokyo series 
definitly has a bright color scheme to it, but 
the quality doesn't really show well except on 
shoulder up or peek moment scenes.  This is 
probably due to the dopey (GOOD dopey) comedy of 
the Tokyo series.  Tell me what the eyes look 
like if you need more help.
