Okay, most sellers on eBay are cool, fantastic
people...
I just can't understand why one or two bad eggs
keep slipping in there!
What really bothers me is I totally can't
understand why a seller would bother with shill
bidding. To go through the whole process of
deceiving (or trying to deceive) everyone by
creating fake accounts and driving up prices
on his/her auctions...
Um... maybe I'm missing something here, but if
you won't sell a cel/item below a certain price
and want the bidding to go at least that high,
isn't that what a RESERVE PRICE is for? Then
you have the option of saying "sorry, I can't
sell for that price" without having to throw your
morals to the wind. =) Yeesh...
What boggles me even more is that the few sellers
who seem to think this stuff is a good idea
apparently think that the bidders are totally
stupid. Do they not think we'll realize
something's amiss when the same 0-feedback names
pop up on every (or most) auction the seller
posts?
Well, duhh.... do you want fries with that,
sir? :P
