More Suggestions (Wed Jun 13 21:30:23 2001 )

I just went back and read all the fine print in
their auctions. After reading it all, I would have
a hard time ever buying from this dealer. The
implication in every word is that they will always
come out on top in any transaction that goes
wrong.

But, there are several things that can still be
done.

One thing I noticed is that they are a Power
Seller. This is an incentive program that can be
taken away easily if the seller does not comply
with the rules regarding the use of the logo. The
first thing I would do would be to notify ebay on
this subject, and notify the seller that you are
doing so. (Click on the Powerseller logo to get to
the info you need) You can see that a Power Seller
must maintain a 98% postive feedback rating,
provide a "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy and
maintain the community values of Ebay. This
seller does none of the above.

If you can't request their user information, I am
sure another person, who has had a transaction
with them more recently, will be willing to do it
for you. Getting a phone number and speaking to
the person you had successful dealings with may
fix everything quickly.

Lastly, you may want to make a public appeal on
this board. If they do not read it, perhaps their
friends will and alert them to what will soon
become a huge financial loss, by keeping
$40.

What is being done is simply not acceptable. The
prompt return of your money (and sending you the
cels, considering how little they are selling them
for, would be the best thing for them to do) and
an appology is in order.

(Anon ebayer from above)
