Re: Totally off topic but.. why are so many American houses made of wood? Surely bricks are more secure, especially in a hurricane??!! NT (Tue Oct 16 13:31:18 2001 )

Well, it dates back to WW2 when many soldiers( or
their widows), generals, ect. were promised cheap
housing in return for their services. The houses
were quick to make and cheap to build so the idea
stayed.

Ummm. Hehe...don't ever except the US to build
homes European style. Somehow I think a four
layered stone home is a wee bit out of the
majority of the peoples price range, as it is a
lot of Europeans! =^_^=

I was in Europe when an Orcan, aka wind storm,
blew in from the Atlantic...it did terrible
damage to the UK and France. Blew down a lot of
tree from the forest in German where I was. And
for all the fuss that was made.....this storm was
a baby considering the hurricanes that the US
coast has seen!!

Cel related....how to make cel related?.....

Stone or wood, Hotsuma will blow it down! Hey
it's the best I can do. ^_^
