anime fan...but I guess it takes all types ^^ Me, 
if you start to talk to me, I'd launch into the 
typical otaku rants...dubs vs. subs, the evils of 
dubtitling, and how the commercialization of 
anime is actually getting -worse- rather than 
better,with subtitles declining in quality, and 
sometimes never being done at all, and VA's being 
allowed to "improvise"...

But I won't do that here ^^

As for Belldandy...I can understand that. It's 
the total femininity, the unerring sweetness, the 
unending devotion. She loves him for who he -is-, 
despite the fact he's a short, under-achieving, 
fumbling, blushing, stuttering, underdog. She 
doesn't care...

And to a lot of people, someone who loves you for 
who you are rather than who they think they can 
mold you to be is a great thing.

Or perhaps I'm reading too deeply.

Of course, it's a good thing the Elektra Complex 
is not as bad as it's Oedipal counter-
part...otherwise I'd be collecting anime cels of 
characters who look like my dad...o.o

(I refuse to give in and say he's cute...he knows 
it by now XD Of course, if discounts were
